Brady Thomas Rice serves as the Managing Member of Ascension Group, overseeing real estate asset management and strategic advisory services throughout North America. Leveraging his deep industry knowledge, Brady optimizes value for clients and stakeholders.

Brady launched his real estate career in 2004 as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson at one of Manhattan’s largest brokerages, where he quickly became a top producer in the residential division. Over the years, he has built a vast range of experience in investment advisory, asset management, development planning, and more.

With over 20 years of real estate expertise, Brady has led Ascension Group on hospitality, retail, mixed-use, and multifamily projects across North America. He has successfully executed more than $9 billion USD in dispositions, financings, investment sales, and advisory engagements. His specialization includes full-service hotel investment sales, investment banking, asset sales, financing, and strategic consulting, which has contributed to the creation of numerous exciting and innovative projects, including those in Montana, Baja California, and other key areas across North America.

In addition to his role at Ascension Group, Brady is the President and Founder of The BTR Group, Inc., a firm specializing in international executive management services focused on capitalizing, developing, restructuring, and operating commercial real estate assets in complex markets. With two decades of experience, Brady is a seasoned expert in the real estate industry. He is currently leading and advising on projects in multiple jurisdictions across the U.S. Mountain West, including Montana, Utah, and Colorado, as well as international destinations such as Baja California Sur, Mexico, and Canada.

A proud graduate of Cornell University (Class of 2007) with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management and a concentration in Real Estate, Brady is also actively involved in various professional and philanthropic communities. His affiliations include the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Sigma Chi Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, and serving as an Emeritus board member of the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management Undergraduate Program Advisory Council at Cornell University.

Outside of work, Brady enjoys skiing and spending time outdoors in the beautiful state of Montana with his family.
